Sad Mr. Scarecrow

Back at the beginning of the school year, there was a happy-looking scarecrow in the garden plots at Erin's school, guarding a crop of corn stalks. I took a picture of him then, thinking how bright and cheerful he looked in the then-cloudless, blue sky. The scene today was quite different. The garden is in desparate need of attention (which, hopefully, Erin's Girl Scout may provide as part of their Bronze Award project), and the scarecrow is looking rather sad.  Poor thing...
