Ever since Erin has had friends come over to play (I truly detest the term "playdate!"), I've for some reason really enjoyed looking at their little shoes lined up together. (OK, so these days, the shoes aren't that little, but I digress...) I can't even begin to explain why. They usually just look so, well, happy, especially at the beginning of the school year when they're clean and new! I wish they could tell stories about all the fun things they've done with their owners... the playtime, school time, girl drama, all of it. Today, Erin had two friends come home with her after school, and when I saw their shoes all lined up on the stairs, I just had to capture them. If only these shoes could talk!
Great shot! I love these tricked out high tops!
ReplyDeleteGreat perspective on your shot. I too have admired the new, shiny, happy backpacks and shoes at the start of school.
ReplyDeleteIt's so true, they do look happy. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love little shoes too. Excpet in our parts, these days all we've been wearing is boots. Those are cute too I suppose! I love your write-up too, so true. I wish shoes could talk! Oh the stories we would hear! :)
ReplyDeleteI love kid shoes! They are the cutest! I wish I could wear a pair of high tops like these to work!
ReplyDeletegreat dof on this!
ReplyDeleteOh - love these!! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun shot. I know what you mean about the shoes lined up by the door. We have a lot of those at our house, and it's been interesting to see them get bigger over the years. Many of them are bigger than my shoes now!
ReplyDeleteOh, sweet! And I love the glitter and designs on the shoes!
