Purple Passion

It's "Name That Flower - The Friday Edition!" These purple beauties grow in our backyard, and range from almost white to a beautiful light purple shade, and the yellow in their centers add a splash of contrasting color. They're so pretty and cheerful to look at! (And I bet a bunch of you know what they are!)

    Oh, this will be fun if you do a "name that flower" regularly! I'll never know the names, but I might even learn some:) Do you know what your growing zone is?

    I had to look it up, but it looks like we're in Zone 10. I'm pretty sure we've decided they're type of callendula - here's a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osteospermum
