Coach

Today was the last game of the regular spring soccer season, and Erin's team not only won (woo-hoo!), but celebrated with an end-of-the-season party. This season has been a great one for Erin, due in no small part to the fantastic coaches she's had. Both girls are seniors in high school and long-time soccer players. It's been really fantastic to see how well they interact with the girls, and how much the girls enjoy learning from them. This springs, we've seen Erin branch out from being just a defender to trying (and, for the most part, enjoying) every position the field has to offer. I can only credit these wonderful coaches for encouraging her to try them and teaching her how to be successful in them. This picture is one of the coaches, Courtney, who I know Erin will miss greatly when the season ends. We can only hope that next year we get coaches half this good!  Thank you, Courtney and Sloan!
