View from Above

This morning, Jim, Erin and I went for a walk down at the beach, on my favorite trail. It was a gorgeous morning, and although we saw fog to the east of us, as we got closer to the coast, it was perfectly clear. Ahhh... Just how I like it!  As we came within view of the ocean, I saw a sailboat in the water that looked so pretty! I was just able to get a shot of it before it went behind the rocks.

Further along on the walk, we went up the hill near the Ritz Carlton (Jim had never huffed it up there before), and the view from the top was just spectacular, as always. I especially liked looking down on the water through the wildflowers that are at the top. I seriously wonder if I'll ever cease to be amazed by the beauty of the Pacific!

  1. Jealous. All we have is rain, and more rain. I love the way the sailboat is centered over the notch in the headlands. Very cool! I know--you waited, right? ;-) The wildflowers to the right in the second shot are gorgeous, and the varying shades of the ocean are spectacular. I NEVER get tired of the ocean.
